depends on the military branch and the grade of officer. Infantry Field
Officers wore uniforms of a slightly lighter variant of the standard field
grey (cause officer’s uniforms were better quality) so a 50:50 mix of
German Field Grey830 and Green Grey 886 highlighted with pure Green Grey
usually does a great job of representing the field officers. caps are the
same color for field officers

For German figures in winter camouflage (such as the late-war
Volksgrenadiers in the two-piece reversible camouflage suit), for sure.
Some of the German gear is different, so check the relevant painting guide
if you’re not sure about colours.
