I watched all of your videos on painting the ghost flames and they really
gave me a good understanding of what to do. I have a bunch of old broke
down vehicles that I plan to practice on and thanks to you guys I know
where to start. Is there a chance I can get a run-down of what kind of
primer, base-coat and clear-coat to start with?

@buzzdoan go to your local paint and body shop supply store and get some
inexpensive supplys to practice with,, after you get the hang of things,
and your ready to move up, go with PPG paint supplies to do the real
deal… Thanks Pete

An example of true ghost flames , check out ( a true blue beast).her on
youtube. When the sun hits the paint just right they seem to vanish, then
when light hits just righ the flames are more pronounced.

Hey Pete. Love your videos! Trying to watch them all but that would be a
full time job in itself. Anyway since you are a badass painter and all
around pro I was gonna ask your opinion / advice… I got a 56 Buick Super
that Im makin flat black and wanted to do flames on it. What do you think
about taking the flat black off to reveal the paint underneath? Not rubbing
it all the way off but just scuffing it…
