nice little video. I’ve been using the Spectratex paints for several months
now, and really enjoy working with them. They are much easier to work with
for me, and give good professional level results in my work.
June 12, 2011 @ 8:59 am
@hefty88 Yep I do. It’s now my favorite paint for textile work.
June 12, 2011 @ 9:01 am
@airbrushinfo Yeah, it’s great paint. I’ve had this sample kit for a few
months as well, but haven’t used a whole lot yet. It’s going to replace
createx as my textile paint. I also sent this to Ken at Badger, and felt a
little guilty wearing the createx shirt, but he said he enjoyed watching
it.

Awesome, now I want to start again with airbrushing but my I have trouble
cleaning it so it splatters all over the place. And can I have the name of
the song, it’s kinda a dark metal/rock or something, me like 😉
June 18, 2011 @ 6:34 pm
@Bvzijverden Glad you like it, and thanks for the feedback. What brush do
you have? Join the forum (theairbrushforum [dot] com), we can help you get
it squared away. The song is called cdk_rock_song from podsafeaudio (dot)
com.

@sgtm1775 I’m a starter so I have little money to invest: it’s a Ventus
Apollo. But I do everyting the internet says. I think it’s my paint, i just
use reagular createx, but also for plastic stuff. And I reduce it with
4010. I already joined the forum, but * if I remember good I didn’t know
how to start a topic so I kinda forgot about the site 🙁 I will try again,
tommorow ( little late now ;P )
June 18, 2011 @ 8:06 pm
@Bvzijverden Click the start a new post button on the left hand side.
Createx and the 4010 is a good combo. We’ll help ya get it fixed up.
Include some pictures if you can.

pretty cool but would be a lot cooler large scale
June 20, 2011 @ 7:22 am
@beammark True. I was just sitting in my shop wishing for something to
paint when I saw that blank canvas sitting on the shelf. Not my best, but
not bad overall I think.
June 20, 2011 @ 11:37 pm
@sgtm1775 i know i used to have a hood i would just practice on. then i did
some flames on it that i didnt want to paint over so i cleared it and kept
it! i havnt airbrushed very much lately but i got a bunch of free car paint
because my work changed paint systems so ill get started again

@HackerGuitarist -Yes. Overspray is your friend on the first two layers.
Dark to light, loose to tight is the name of the game with fire.

March 25, 2013 @ 10:36 pm
Hi; Do you use any reducers with Spectra paints? I know it says that the
paint can be used without a reducer but would like your take on using
reducer or not using. Thanks
March 26, 2013 @ 8:07 am
No, they’re ready to shoot right out of the bottle. Great stuff too! If you
find that you want to increase the transparency of the paint, then you
could reduce with some distilled water.
March 26, 2013 @ 11:53 am
Thanks for the info bud… Will try them out when I get back home in a
couple of weeks….Thanks again..
March 26, 2013 @ 7:21 pm
