Vietnam Business today: Saigon’s Restaurant and Food. Viet kieu returns home
Eating in Saigon is a wonderful experience, but with Vietnamese food on a daily basis, restaurants like Skewers help me and many other expats and visitors get a taste of home. Western food is plentiful in Saigon, but none are like this place. I’ve actually eaten many times here before meeting the chef and owner from Southern California, Tristan Ngo. In this video, we sit down with him and chat a bit about his experiences in Vietnam and in business. Then we ate some food including clam chowder and meat loaf.
When you’re in town, be sure to visit Skewers at 9 Thai Van Lung, District 1. http://www.skewers-restaurant.com/

I’m an American living in America and that food is exactly the type of food
I stay away from because it’s so very fastening but it does look good. When
I arrive in Vietnam in April, I want to try the most unusual food they have
to offer. I want to drink Cobra Blood or something equally strange. Snake
blood is a stereotype I know but it’s one of the things I wanna try. I will
video tape it for you Kyle.

Hey Kyle I recently discovered you. Last summer I was in Vietnam for a
month. For the majority of my visit I was in Hanoi, but for 6 days I was in
the south. I was in HonChi Minh for 3 days and the last 3 I was in Phan
Thiet. It was a great experience.
