Fear never motivates me to do well. Most of the time it has the opposite
effect.

I think we can add Nightcrawler to this list now
November 20, 2014 @ 6:58 pm
The Wolf of Wall Street should be number 1
November 26, 2014 @ 4:03 am

The two speeches at the end of Other People’s Money are both incredible.
Gregory Peck gives an incredible speech in support of his dying company to
rally his stockholders against a hostile takeover by “bad guy” Danny DeVito
— and then DeVito takes the stage — and gives his speech — and
completely blows him out of the water.

i´d wish u good luck but u wouldn´t know what to do with it if you got it,
say this the next time you wanna say good luck to some one so that they get
that tickling feeling in the balls and perform better . reverse psychology
.

Give me a break!
The greatest business speech of all time is Arthur Jensen in Network.

Honestly I never really found the Boiler Room speech to be very good.
Affleck’s delivery made him sound insecure rather than confident and
powerful. Though maybe that’s the point.
And as for the Wolf of Wall Street comments, the movie only came out a few
weeks before this video, and the video was probably already written an
edited before they could add it in.

Bullshit. Number 1 is “The World is a Business” from Network. Orsen Well’s
“Cuckoo Clock” should be on here too. Placing “Layer Cake”, “Boiler Room”,
and “American Gangster” on this list is laughable.
But the worst inclusion is “The Pursuit of Happyness”. I mean come on,
it’s basically “The Little Engine that Could”. That’s no criticism against
those films. But they certainly don’t belong in a top ten list of business
speeches in movies.

Anything from The Wolf of Wall Street really.

Brando at the beginning of the Godfather? :
“… and if by chance an honest man like yourself should make enemies, then
he would become my enemies…
…*and then they WILL fear you*…”
January 4, 2015 @ 3:00 pm
The problem with this list is its inclusion of Boiler Room.
January 4, 2015 @ 11:13 pm
This caused me to find “Glengarry Glen Ross” on Netflix and watch
it….pretty good….pretty good lol

“GREED! for a Lack of a better word”. because one way or another every
major society needs gold, precious metal, or mineral to survive. every
empire throughout HISTORY has survived because of this montage. we are all
carnivores that will do what it takes to survive. why do you not “Look at
amerKKKa” if the way I spelled it offended you why THE F**k are you even
here. after you learn history maybe you will learn what it takes to become
a global power house. if not your nothing more than dust in the wind. a
mere attitude that could not COPE with CHANGE makes you obsolete. LOL!!!
F**kin weenie learn from SHARKS & WOLVES shit even VULTURES. because in
business WHATEVER has value MAKES money.
January 8, 2015 @ 2:10 pm
Eastwoods speech in the cabin when the impending Indian attack is coming in
the Outlaw Josie Wales should be on any list. Short but strong.
January 10, 2015 @ 1:01 am
Danny DeVito & Gregory Peck in Other People’s Money also should be in the
mix. Get rid of Ben Affleck, he’s a joke of an actor
