Lol. A brand means totally nothing, the Chinese can produce as good quality
as the brand they fake nowadays.

Real Product = Made in China using cheap labor and cheap materials.
Counterfeit Product = Made in China using cheap labor and cheap materials.
Only difference is that the real product has marketing money behind it and
can charge 10x as much.

whats the difference between a legitimate channel hand bag and a fake one?
none!
it is illegal to fake and counterfeit things a got that, but is it alright
to get filthy rich from slaving the poor people of China? by having them to
work a whole lot for just pennies. the problem doesn’t end with just
putting people in prison or taken away their only way they find for earning
a living . I think the problem lies beyond that. We must stop the big
corporations from profiting on the expenses of others. The whole system is
corrupted but everything starts from the higher ups period.

Counterfeiting would not exist if big brands didn’t try and charge 100X
more than what they products are really worth…

This film reminds me of when Japan was known as the center for shoddy
counterfeiting and name-brand knockoffs. Now people put a high price on
what are called “vintage” Japanese goods from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. In
a couple of decades people will be seeking out vintage Chinese goods and
decrying the cheap products coming out of Africa.

Union and socialist greed , endless greed , has finally killed or forced
business to relocate. Companies that supported communities with good jobs
can no longer compete with the constant greed of these countries and
employees. It really is simple money, wealth, jobs, and talent all go to
where they are welcome, wanted, respected and can earn a profit. If the
West want’s to compete and keep it’s businesses it must reduce the size of
government spending, lower taxes massively, and drastically reduce social
programs, and get rid of old out dated and unnecessary unions that are a
cancer to job creation. Times have changed and so must our old outdated
ways of doing things and our desire to have government do everything for
us.

I dont really care that the rich bastards losing money.. who sell bags for
a thousand dollars to idiots who think they are better than others for
being stupid enough to fork out that thousand.
December 3, 2014 @ 3:28 am
Aww, poor corporations!!
January 1, 2015 @ 3:57 pm
The comments here are really missing the point. The big issue isn’t that
the big brands are less profitable. The problem is that counterfeiting
funds an unregulated industry that involves worker exploitation, child
labour and human trafficking as well as other crimes

Since they want to take manufacturing jobs outside the USA they should also
lose IP rights then the Government doesn’t have to spend so much money
enforcing IP for companies who do their best to avoid taxes. Further, the
loss of IP to those companies opens up the playing field for small
companies who want to get into the market and helps Americans repatriate
their money back to the USA.

It’s China’s way of getting back at Britain (Burberry) and the the western
world for the opium wars.
If you look at it that way, I don’t feel sorry for the big brands.
On another note:
Luxottica monopoly, they’re shitting on the entire world by monopolising
the eyewear industry and charging us up to $800 for a pair of glasses that
cost $30 to manufacture.
So don’t feel bad the next time you buy a pair of counterfeits.
January 12, 2015 @ 9:35 pm
So according to my understanding by buying counterfeit products people are
promoting child labor and labor exploitation but at the same time these big
co-operations are selling some of the products on such high prices under
the influence of their brand name that it is near impossible to be bought
by the working class and the big companies are also exploiting labor if not
promoting child labor.
What is this world we live in? 🙁 Sad!

If the knock off is as good as the original, then who’s the real bastard:
The guy who makes the knock off for $10, or the company who sells the
original for $1000 when it actually costs less than $10 to make? Corporate
reputations no longer mean anything when they farm out their work to third
world countries but keep charging the same high prices. Name brand sneakers
cost upwards of $100, but are made in the same factories as those that cost
$25. The name brand company pockets the extra profit. Beats headphones cost
ten times what the same ones do without the name brand on them. Dr Dre gets
the extra cash.

True story from Hong Kong. I was making a presentation to Hong Kong
customs for x-ray systems to detect potential counterfeit goods moving
across the border in trucks. During the meeting the customs guys were
telling us of a recent raid they did on counterfeit Italian shoes.
Designer name and super high quality. A pair of shoes cost HK$20 (about
US$3).
I just whistled, then asked them if they knew the new location the
bootleggers were selling from. They laughed, but then told me.
January 19, 2015 @ 5:12 pm
honestly if you cant afford the real thing u just get to have it, even if
it fake got to Walmart or what ever store you got and get the cheap stuff
AND NOT THE KNOCKOFFS. if it not 100% authentic then don’t touch it with a
10ft pole. I dont care if it looks real it not real and wither you think so
or not you are hurting the company in question
January 25, 2015 @ 6:54 am
I personally don’t mind fake handbags , shoes and so on , but when it comes
to medicine and your life , the fakes are Deadly and very damaging indeed
! FAKE medicine is a Big No No , that’s one thing you really need the
original ….
January 27, 2015 @ 9:39 am
in high school you get made fun of for buying fake jordans
January 27, 2015 @ 7:19 pm
The fucking Chinese are ruthless money hungry Nazis. They are by far the
biggest scum and are generally rude. They will do or hurt anyone for a
buck. I wish us westerners would stop doing business with them, if that
means I would have to pay a little more for a pair of jeans or sneakers
made in America, then so be it. They are exploiting Cambodian workers
knowing that they are a country that is striving just to stay alive from a
corrupted government who has no desire to protect their people. Just last
year the government opened fire on protesters who desire more money for
their slave labor. They are making $40 a month 16 hours a day to work for
GAP and Puma. $40 a day does not cut it even in a 3rd world country when
jeans are still $20 a pair and gas prices are $4 a gallon. Shame to see
what the demand of fashion does to create slave labor.
January 31, 2015 @ 9:02 am
chinese people are fake, copycats, and unoriginal…keep your fake shit in
your fake country
February 1, 2015 @ 1:20 pm
Burning the goods?!?! What a waste of time and money. Mark them and then
donate them, something, don’t destroy. Ugh.
February 1, 2015 @ 1:24 pm
“I like to catch bad guys.” Hmm, I think he should focus on some actual bad
guys. People selling people, not the copying
February 6, 2015 @ 2:44 am
This isn’t about the purses or the shoes. It’s about the fact that they are
hitting an all time low with medication and soon they will be
counterfeiting weapons that will most likely result in a “product” that is
more dangerous than it already is! Think about that people! I know screw
the huge corp. but look at the children’s harmed and the people dying bc
they are too poor to go to doctors and get real medicine
February 6, 2015 @ 11:07 am
you guys miss the point…its not about the clothes, its about the workers
who make them, its more about the fake drugs that are getting into the
system and are being sold from legitimate pharmacies…
February 7, 2015 @ 1:46 am
There always gonna be people who willing to buy the cheaper stuff. Its like
the drug. As long as poeple willing to buy, somebody ll be there to satisfy
their needs. I know that cheap counterfeits destroys the factories and
labour in the western world, but it is impossible to stop this as
informations got fast since internet was invented. Everybody has choice; if
I dont like the cheap one, I dont buy it. If I cant say the difference…
well, probably I ll go for the cheaper one. I m not talkin about
intsruments guys… that must be Japanese, no question.
February 7, 2015 @ 8:18 am
How dare they start the video “capitalism is out of control” and then show
a picture of Mao Zedong… Communism got them where they are and although I
agree outsourcing is a problem, their government are the whores allowing
their people to be exploited
