All the tips aÅ‹d suggestioÅ‹s you gave, I already kÅ‹ew it but it’s great for
people usiŋg airbrushes for the first time, I have doŋe 5 or 6 thiŋgs with
it, the ŋext project oŋ my list will be flames oŋ my door, I already have
the curved templates too aŋd I have a sexy Paasche Double Action airbrush,
but I have a techŋical questioŋ, you already told us the way you cleaŋ your
airbrush, I also have this weird lookiŋg browŋ liquid used to cleaŋ it but
everytime I’m cleaÅ‹iÅ‹g it, the first thiÅ‹g I do is disassemble it all aÅ‹d
cleaÅ‹ it, specially the Å‹eedles but it’s kiÅ‹d of aŋŋoyiÅ‹g to cleaÅ‹ it that
way because I have to disassemble it aŋd assamble it all over aŋd over
agaiÅ‹, what’s your suggestioÅ‹? aÅ‹d, am I doiÅ‹g it wroÅ‹g? maybe I’m breaking
it and I don’t realize it. Oh a quick question, I used Rotring drawing ink
for technical pens, and it kinda works but I don’t know if it damages or
not the interior of the airbrush, does it?. Thanks for showing us how to
airbrush flames, I never tought such a cute delicate girl will teach us
something we (filthy loud metalheads) will freaking like, you’re aweome!.

Thank you for the lesson on airbrushing Im new to working with it and
finding some things quiet hard to do, you have explained it better than Ive
heard on other videos, I like working it in with my acrylic paintings like
you do especially on clouds or fog and rays which I always have hard time
with, again great work and waiting for part 2… :)

I know that spray paint has to have really good ventilation but are these
fumes as bad or can you do it in a room?
April 16, 2014 @ 7:25 pm
Also, if you use a gun sideways like that…. you’re gonna break your arm
from the rebound. XD The aftershock is gonna mess up your arm…so anyone
who does that is an idiot. Anyways…. back to watching the video.

One more questioÅ‹, sorry if I’m botheriÅ‹g you with all this but, caÅ‹ it be

Lisa, Golden also makes airbrush paint which is more like the Iwata-Medea
product. I’ver never had any luck with Createx paint. Although Createx
makes AutoAir which is water based and very popular among the auto
painters… I’ve used it with great success. I have just a few bottles and
if aI buy any more I will have to purchase the entire line as I have a
little problem. I have ALL the Iwata and Golden paints…

so informative lol! I didn’t know that stencils would be that important to
flames but it totally works!! Airbrushing is definitely on my “to learn”
list.
April 17, 2014 @ 6:31 pm
Lisa, as always you make it look so easy. I have never used an air brush,
but I know it cannot be easy. I appreciate that you explain each step and
the cautions on how to use the brush. I can see the advantage of using this
as one of the tools when you create any painting. This is a great video
that will be viewed by many often to gain information and tips on how to do
this. We all appreciate the time and work you put into these videos. We
will all be looking forward to next week for the finish. Thanks :D

I am so happy to see this tutorial Lisa. I have practiced with my airbrush,
but have set it aside for a couple of weeks. I will be watching this a
number of time just to catch all you said. Yes you talk very fast and old
brains have a hard time keeping up hehehehhe…Thank you again so much.
April 21, 2014 @ 6:31 pm
Lisa, do you use a mask when painting with the airbrush in acrylics?
April 23, 2014 @ 3:45 am
I would love to see your paintings in a normal speed
April 23, 2014 @ 2:03 pm

May 28, 2014 @ 7:56 pm
can you please share the website where i can buy the stencils?? please
July 22, 2014 @ 5:58 am
where did you get the stencils for the fancy wall paper that ive seen in
other videos
July 29, 2014 @ 3:59 am
You are like an encyclopedia of art information.
August 6, 2014 @ 1:44 pm
My biggest problem when I tried airbrushing was changing colors. What
would you suggest as the simplest way to change colors? For some reason
this is the part that’s always left out of tutorials and I can never seem
to get a solid answer. :(
November 6, 2014 @ 12:50 pm
Thanks for these tips. I have a bad habit of not letting the air flow from
my brush before I letting up on the trigger. Or moving my arm to paint and
not my entire body. Which messed up my giraffe background. But, all
mistakes can be fixed right?!
November 6, 2014 @ 4:30 pm
What can I do of I have a stencil, but no airbrush. Is it possible to still
be able to get solar effects if let’s say, I sponge dab it???
November 17, 2014 @ 3:34 pm
Hey! I love your art and videos, they are so informative! I was just
wondering, do you have to use airbrush paint? Or can you use normal acrylic
paints?
Thanks :)

I just stumbled on your youtube channel and love it! I want to try using
the airbrush machine. but I am so confused! what is everything I need? I
know I need compressor. and I can purchase the needles at hobby lobby. but
is there a kit I can purchase that has everything you need for the machine?
and what size of needle do you use?
December 26, 2014 @ 8:18 pm
You might try the Createx Illustratiion paint line. That would take care of
some of your clogging issues and it comes in some really high pigment
loaded and in Artists colors names.

Is it my PC or are you talking 90mph?
April 16, 2015 @ 12:13 am
Lisaaaa! I’m not even close to kidding when I say: *I feel like I’ve
learned more from you over the past couple months, than from my old college
professors when I went to school for art education.* It’s crazy! You’re far
more interesting; & your practical demos + theoretical approach/ overall
delivery is fantastic. 🙂 Thank you (again) for your awesomeness. *Subscribe,
people!*
