Becareful when cutting the flame pinstripe with a xacto blade that you do not cut to deep into the plactic. If you do the body won’t last that long before it breaks apart. Rene Jespersen February 7, 2008 @ 9:14 am How do you get the flame pinstripe so accurate? Practice practice and practice or is there a secret? Mine is allways getting different thickness 🙁 Rene Jespersen February 8, 2008 @ 5:19 am Looking forward to that. These videos are worth gold for amatures like myself, who has no one to ask. rcnitroracer March 10, 2008 @ 4:50 pm Nice work Charlie, Im going to watch it from start to finish again. I ordered a iwata hp-cr from coast air and have bodies ready to go. Knowing these few tips and tricks should turn out good bodies and with practice, I might even end up great at it. Thanks dcnismo3 March 12, 2008 @ 11:46 pm what do you use to mask with? Is it pre made masking or do you just use like masking tape and make the flames and stuff yourself? Also, how do you keep the paint from bleeding through the mask? CrushingGroovesByAlexFromSuffer April 12, 2008 @ 3:07 pm can I see some of your work online not video but pictures? cfxpaintworks April 19, 2008 @ 3:21 am Thanx fort watching! dakoks77 May 1, 2008 @ 1:44 pm awesome job man… nickhpiracing June 12, 2008 @ 6:06 am fantastic flipstar1127 September 13, 2008 @ 10:11 pm Beautiful as usual charlie!! I am going to use it for body art mostly (people bodies, not car bodies) but it really helps to see the different types of strokes and how they can be used to create certain effects. mattsjello February 5, 2013 @ 4:59 pm How much would it cost to do an emaxx shell cause that one is sick charlie barnes February 5, 2013 @ 5:07 pm Paintjobs start at $100 and goes up from there. GreywolfStudios74 May 11, 2013 @ 9:22 am Thanks man! Ive been looking for some more basic info on how to do some of the basics of painting RC bodies as Ive never done it before. Hard to find good videos on the basics. Its always people showing more advanced tips and tricks and not so much simple basics like drop shadows etc.
